MMM GLOBAL SOCIAL FINANCIAL NETWORK

HOW TO START PARTICIPATING?
So, you have decided to participate in MMM. What to do? It’s very easy! Just follow the steps below.
2.    Enter your Personal Office.
3.    There will be two big buttons. “Provide help” and “Get help”.
4.    If you want to contribute money, click “Provide help” and specify the amount you want to put into the system. The minimum amount is $10 & multiple of $10.
5.    You immediately get MAVROs in your Personal Office (MAVRO is the internal currency of the system)
However, as soon as you get MAVROs you won’t be able to sell them till they are unconfirmed as you still haven’t transferred money but only created the request.
6.    Participants are invited to take part in offline activities. For example, to stick leaflets with the symbols of the Community, distribute flyers, arrange a home visit. Performing offline tasks, Usually offline actions are harder and more efficient, and therefore the mavro you get for them is higher!

The execution of offline tasks will bring you some additional mavro (the rate will be stated in the description of the task in your PO). Upon completion of the task you will need to submit a photo or video report.
The main types of offline tasks:
- holding a meeting (2-3 persons, except for the Organizer) and recording it on video:
- meeting (4-5 persons, except for the Organizer) with a video report:
- meeting (6 or more persons, apart from the Organizer) with a video report:
- posting/distributing leaflets and the stencil with a photo-report:
- posting/distributing leaflets and the stencil with a video report:
- conducting a photo shoot with a photo-report:
- conducting a photo shoot with photo- and video-reports:

Your mavro depends on the task successfully you do. Results are not typical, but achievable. Your results will depend on how you work and build your community.

There are no guarantees and promises ( be sure to read the WARNING! )
7.    Then you’ll get the order in your PO including all bank account details of the person you should transfer money to.The order also contains contact details of the person so you can get in touch with him or her to make sure that it’s a real person and participant as you.

In MMM there is no central account where all participants’ money accumulates (and where it can be stolen). All transfers are carried out between the participants directly. It means that everything is quite clear and transparent. MMM plays the role of the operator that helps to establish the contact between the participants.
8.    Transfer money to the participant. He or she confirms the receipt and your MAVROs become “confirmed”. That’s it! Now you can sell them whenever you want, total amount or a part of it.
9.    If you want to sell your MAVROs click “Get help” and specify the amount.
Other participant will receive the order and will send you the money (provide help). As you did earlier! Don’t forget to confirm the receipt of help as soon as the money is on your bank account (But no earlier! Be careful with frauds!). If you don’t do it the sender’s MAVROs won’t be confirmed.
10.  You can read the detailed rules of system on the page “What is MMM”.
At the beginning we recommend contributing a small sum of money that isn’t critical for you and go through the process from the start to the end. From the registration to getting help. Therefore, everything will be clear and there won’t be any doubts.

MMM GLOBAL SOCIAL FINANCIAL NETWORK

WHAT IS MMM

Attention! First off all obligatorily read the WARNING!

MMM is not a bank, MMM does not collect your money, MMM is not an online business, HYIP, investment or MLM program. MMM is a community where people help each other. MMM gives you a technical platform which helps millions of participants worldwide to connect those who NEED help to those who are ready to PROVIDE help, for FREE. All transferred funds to another participant are your help  given by your own good will to another one, absolutely gratis. If you are completely confident and certain in your actions and make your mind to participate, we kindly ask you to study carefully all warnings and instructions first. In cases of any matter regarding the topic Our online consultants are ready to help and answer all of your questions.

HOW DOES IT WORK

MMM is a community of people providing each other financial help on the principle of gratuitousness, reciprocity and benevolence.
In MMM you don’t have to make contracts or pledge your property. In MMM there are no lenders and no debtors. Everything is very simple: one participant asks for help — another one helps.
The only thing that MMM demands from its participants is to be honest and kind to each other. You ask for financial help when you need it, you give financial help when you are able to do it.
VERY IMPORTANT!
There is no сentral account, where all the System money flows to (and where it can be easily stolen from :-)). All the money is only on the banking accounts of the participants themselves! On a lot of thousand and million private accounts. Participants transfer to each other directly, without intermediaries! (What are they for? :-)) In fact, MMM only regulates the process — nothing more.
So the System completely belongs to people. No kidding! It is a real mutual aid fund where ordinary people help each other.
How does it work technically? You declare the willingness to give help (click in your Personal Office (hereinafter PO) "Provide Help"), after which your account will be rewarded with mavro (internal “currency”/scores of the System). Mavros will start growing from the moment of offering the contribution at the rate of 30% per month. (Calculation of reward occurs twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 00:00 GMT.) This sum in Mavro shows how much you can request for yourself.
Say you have announced willingness to assist with $ 100. You will be rewarded in your PO with 100 mavro. And they will immediately start growing! A month later, these 100 will become 130 mavro. Accordingly, you will be able to request assistance for $ 130.
However, it is not necessary at all to wait for a month. Help can be requested at any time. But only after confirmation of your mavro. What does "after confirmation" mean? It means only after you actually transfer money, i.e. really give assistance to another participant. (But not just declare willingness. :-)) Request for providing help comes to you in your personal office. If you do not do it within 48 hours, you will be removed from the system. (For all eternity. :-))
In cases of any matter regarding the topic our online consultants are ready to help and answer all your questions.
Please note that the use of the words 30% a month cannot be considered as a yield or interest rate since the funds were given away, we are not earning anything anywhere (we are a mutual-aid fund), and nobody promises or guarantees to pay it! Read over THE WARNING.

REGISTRATION BONUS

When registering in the system, you get from $20 to $100 as a present.
But not everyone, only those who have contributed their own money as well. (Otherwise the System will be pulled apart. For bonuses. They will keep registering endlessly. :-))
1) $20 — if you have contributed from $50 to $499. Frozen for two weeks. If you take it out earlier — you will lose twenty.
2) $50 — if you have contributed from $500 to $2'999. Frozen for a month.
3) $100 — $3'000 and above. Also frozen for a month.
Once again about “freezing”. Bear in mind that if you take your money out earlier, you'll lose registration bonus. Only the bonus! But the contribution with all the accrued interest will be paid.
Each participant is allowed to have only one account.

REFERRAL BONUS

You get 10% from all deposits of the participant you invited. Inviting new members into the Community is your additional contribution to its development. But nobody force the members of the Community to invite new participants. But at the same time, understanding that the MMM network can’t exist without development and participants’ encouragement in the form of referral bonuses motivate many people to take an active position.

GUIDER’S BONUS

Guiders of MMM Community can create their own multi-level structures and get a bonus from each donation of every participant in their structures. This is a multi-level bonus, thus a guider can have his own leader whose rank is higher. Guider’s bonus depends on his level in the Community:

For example, if you are Ronald’s guider, Ronald is Maricel’s guider and Maricel is Joseph’s, you will get 5% from Ronald’s donation, 3% from Maricel’s donation and 1% from Joseph’s. If someone will be under Joseph, you will get from him 0.5% and so on.
Guider’s bonuses are credited in the same way as referral, but only from new money deposited and will be available to withdraw after confirmation of your help provided.

BONUS FOR THE VIDEO IN THE TESTIMONIALS

Bonus for the video in a "Letter of happiness" is +10%, +5% or +1% of the amount of received help.
After receiving help you have to send a "Letter of happiness". If you attach a video to it, you will get a bonus. The bonus is credited for each "Letter of happiness".
  • 10% of the amount of help received — you will get for super quality video. It should be professional-looking: quality recording and editing. Record an interesting story in which you are the main character. Tell us how you will spend (spent) the money, what impact MMM ideology had on your life, how the Community changes your life, and invite other people to participate in MMM. The plot must be interesting and creative. The minimum resolution is 640x480. The minimum video duration is 1 min 30 sec.
  • 5% of received help for the video where you show your face and your voice is heard clearly. Tell about your emotions from the participation in MMM and invite other people to join the Community!
  • 1% of received help for the video where you don’t show your face. You need to demonstrate your Personal Office and a photo of your bank accounts statement or an electronic statement from internet banking as a proof of receiving help.
The bonus is credited in MAVRO 30% and frozen for 1 month. If during this month you will delete the video, you will lose this bonus.
Bonus for your video story of providing help is +1% or +0.5% of the amount of the help provided.
In addition, you can record a video about providing help and get a bonus 1% or 0.5% of the amount of provided help. The size of the bonus depends on the fact if you show your face in the video or not.

TRUSTEES AND TRUSTORS

There is a serious problem. Many would like to participate in MMM but they, let’s say, don’t have the internet. Or they are just too lazy to understand and deal with all this. With all these assignments and so on. What if it could be like this: you transfer money and then you simply get it with interest. No bothering about anything. :-))
So for this kind of participants who have no internet (or just for the lazy ones :-)), institution of Trustees and Trustors has been created. (Any caprice, as they say! :-))
Any participant of MMM can entrust his/her guider the PO managing, assigning the leader as his/her Trustee. Provide complete access to PO and let him/her get into all these details. The participant just calls and gives assignments: “Take out this sum of money for me!" and so on.
How does it work?
The first option. The guider registers the participant and states that he/she is his Trustee. (If, let’s say, the participant has no internet or does not know anything about computers).
The second option. The participant indicates in PO himself/herself that he/she makes the guider his/her Trustee (and provides him complete access to the PO — he is tired of bothering with all this! :-)). Of course, at any moment the participant can change his mind and refuse of Trustee’s service.
In order to protect from abuses from the Trustee’s, the most important operations (change of account information for cash-out, creation of application for cash-out, confirmation of getting money) — only through confirmation code! I.e. at the Trustee’s attempt to make such operation, a confirmation code will be asked. It is sent by sms to the Trustor. The Trustee gets in touch with the Trustor, explains the details and then the Trustor tells the confirmation code. (If he/she wants. :-)) Only in this way! :-))
Besides, when creating applications and assignments for cash-in the Trustor will also get the corresponding sms. Other than that, in the case of the assignment to send money, the recipient’s account information will be indicated in the sms. (For the guider not to say: “Send it to me!” We know that! :-))
What else? The Trustee can go into PO of the Trustor right from his/her PO and then the same way can come back easily into his/her personal PO. I.e. managing of trustee’s PO is extremely easy.
We can change the world!
RECOMMENDATIONS ON SAFE PARTICIPATION IN MMM NIGERIA
MMM is the Community where people trust and help each other. That’s why it uses a principle — “only one account for one
person”. Only a person of legal age is allowed to participate in MMM. Each participant has to have own unique Bitcoin wallet or bank account. In the MMM Community you are allowed to add several bank accounts to your personal office. However, note that these bank accounts have to be registered in the name of only one person — you. That is, the accounts must have the same name and surname. In that case, if you add to your office accounts that are registered in the names of different people, you are automatically recognized by the system as a dishonest participant and will be blocked. You have the right to request assistance to be sent to any specified Bank or bitcoin wallet of yours. Yet it is prohibited to share the same bank account and Bitcoin wallet with other people!
The absence of multiple accounts (when one person registers in the system several times) — is the key to dynamic and sustainable development of the Community in the future. The one who creates multiple accounts, and in this way tries to obtain additional, not provided in the rules bonuses — deceives their colleagues and friends, and in the end — themselves. Such frauds will be blocked once and for all and immediately expelled from our community! We need only honest people in the community who change the world for the better!
If you haven’t violated the rules but your account have been blocked, you should write to the Support attaching the photo or scan of ID in order to confirm your identity. You might have been suspected of unfair participation and automatically blocked by the system. Besides, the CRO (Control and Revision Office) can request the video record explaining all situation. In case the participant hasn’t violated the rules there’s nothing to worry about. He will be unblocked and the ban won’t affect his MAVROs growth in anyway.
CRO has effective tools to determine whether the accounts belong to the same person or to different people. If you only have one account and you follow these recommendations, you do not need to worry. In an extreme case, even if you have been blocked (temporarily), but you have followed all the recommendations — you will be able to confirm your identity, your account will be unlocked, and the growth of your Mavro won’t be affected. That’s why play fair, keep calm! We’re on your side!
General Rules:
The amount of assistance you provided turns into MAVRO (conventional unit in MMM System). For example, if the participant has provided assistance of 10000 NGN, he will be awarded with 10000 MAVRO-NGN.
Your MAVROs grow 30% per month (frozen for 2 weeks), i.e. you can request Get Help 2 weeks after the date the contribution has been made and all the recipients have confirmed getting help (Mavro Confirmed).
Your Mavro grows Tuesday and Thursday at 1.00 a.m. (Nigeria time zone).
Registration Bonus +20$, +50$ or +100$. This bonus is given on the first contribution after you signed up in the Community.
+$20 will be awarded to you if your contribution is from $50 to $499. The bonus is frozen for two weeks. If you take out your contribution earlier, the bonus will be cancelled.
+$50 will be awarded to you, if your contribution is from $500 to $2999. This bonus is frozen for a month.
+$100 will be given to you if your contribution is $3000 and more. This bonus is frozen for a month as well.
About freezing: it means if you withdraw your money earlier, you will lose only registration bonus whereas the contribution with all interest accrued will be paid to you.
Participants are credited with Referral Bonus +10% from the amount of the contribution made by each new member (referral) you invited to the Community. The Bonus is paid in MAVRO 30% which may be taken out as soon as the referral has provided help and got his MAVRO confirmed. You can invite a participant through a referral link or MMM invite (code word). You will get the bonus from each referral’s new contribution, but only for “new” money. For example, if he provides assistance of 10000 NGN, you will get 1000-NGN bonus. If after that the participant takes out 15000 NGN and then provided assistance of 20000 NGN, the bonus will be credited only for input/output difference i.e. for 15000 NGN (10000-15000+20000=15000). In total the bonus will make up 1500 NGN, but not 2000 NGN.
Guider’s Bonuses +5%, 3%, 1%, 0.5%, 0.3%, 0.1%, 0.05%, 0.03%, 0.01%. They are multi-level bonuses. The bonus is paid in MAVRO 30%. You may take it out after the referral has provided help and got his MAVRO confirmed. It works like Referral Bonus. Guider’s bonus is paid only for 'new' deposited money. In the MMM Community you have the opportunity to become a guider of another member. Guiders should consult and assist their downliners.
5% — for the members of your first level (whom you are a direct guider)
3% — for the members of the second level (they are direct downliners of the guiders of your first level).
And so on.
Referrals and Guider’s Bonuses from the same contribution are not added. It means MAX Bonus equals to 10%. If A is a referrer and guider of B, A will receive only 10% bonus from contributions of B.
Bonus for the video in a "Letter of happiness" is +5% or +3% of the amount of the received help. Each participant is obliged to send the "Letter of happiness" after receiving help. If the letter is accompanied by video, then the participant will get the relevant bonus. The bonus is added for the video in each "Letter of happiness."
5% of the amount of the received help will be accrued if the video with your face and voice, and of course, provide the proof of money receipt.
3% of the amount of the received help you will get if you provide the video confirming the withdrawal, which will not show you personally. You just demonstrate on the screen your personal office of MMM and the evidence of getting help in the form of bank statements from your bank account or from the Internet banking.
The bonus for video is paid in MAVRO 30% and frozen for 1 month, and if during this period you decide to remove the video, the bonus will be cancelled.
In two weeks after you have joined the community but you haven’t made any contributions and you haven’t done any referral activity (you haven’t invited people through your referral link or invite) — your account in Private Office of MMM can be deleted for inactivity! Therefore if you have any problems or questions, please contact your manager through the contacts indicated in the PO (Personal Office), or contact online consultants on this website.
If you are a beginner and still haven’t understood all functions of your Personal Office (PO) you can make your guider your control confidant to help you with your account. Never share your PO email & password. But in any case do not give anyone the password of your PO. You have to follow these recommendations for your own safety.
The Community members should understand that the MMM recommendations defend the interests of the participants in order to ensure steady work and stable payments. In MMM, money is redistributed among the Community members only. Being honest is the main priority for the Community because MMM was created not for getting richer but to make financial relations between people fairer.
Justice, kindness and honesty in the modern world are not a myth and fantasy any more, MMM has made them reality! TOGETHER we can change the world!!! Long live MMM! Long Live Sergei Mavrodi!!!

5 Real Ways to Actually Make Money Online

How many articles are there about making money online? Thousands?  Millions? Enough? Probably. But there’s a problem. Too many of them are just sales pitches to convince you to sign up for some seminar, webinar, training session or some other way to become an online millionaire.
They really give online money making a bad name. But it is possible to make money online. I mean, the people selling all of those millionaire pitches are making money, right?
There are legitimate ways to make money online. The problem is that the real ways to make money aren’t “get rich quick” schemes.
Most of them require a lot of work and sometimes a lot of dedication before seeing a return on your time.  But if you really want to make money online, work from home or turn an idea into a business, you can do it. You can even earn money with apps if you don’t want to venture all the way to the computer.
I’m going to tell you about all kinds of legitimate ways to make money online.  Since we are talking about legitimate jobs, you’ve got to be…well, legitimate. Many of these options are real jobs that require you to put in hours if you want to get paid. They also require real work. Here are some tips for actually getting the job:
  • Take it seriously. Yes, you’re applying for an online job. Yes, you can do the work in your underwear, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a “real job”. You must treat it as such or they aren’t going to treat you as a serious candidate. You aren’t the only one who wants to work in their underwear. In fact, the competition online is likely higher than it is in your local area.
  • Be professional. When you submit a résumé, don’t type it in ALL CAPS and please don’t avoid the caps lock like the plague. Know how to use it without looking incompetent. Write in complete sentences with proper grammar. Of course, there will be exceptions, but even with the exceptions, you must keep it professional. You’re building their view of you.
  • Give some, but not all.  Whether you’re providing writing samples, a photography portfolio or links to your work, give them enough examples to get the idea, but not so many that they don’t even know where to start. And while we’re on the topic, give them some of your background information, but don’t tell them your life story.
  • Double check yourselfbefore you double wreck yourself. Make sure everything you send to a company, whether a résumé, an email or a portfolio, is good to go. Double check your grammar and wording, and for God’s sake use spell check! This is especially important when it comes to the company’s name. Don’t spell their name wrong and be sure to type it how they type it (e.g. Problogger, not Pro Blogger).

1. Websites That Pay

Let’s go ahead and get this out of the way. There are all kinds of websites that will pay you for various things, such as shopping, taking surveys or testing products. No, I’m not getting paid to promote any of these and no, these websites won’t make you a millionaire, but they are great for earning some extra cash. I’ll leave out the scams.
Here are some legitimate websites that pay:
  1. Swagbucks – Swagbucks is great for earning some extra cash. You can do a variety of things to make money, from taking surveys to using their search engine. You won’t get rich, but you will earn a few bucks. If you have the time to kill, you can spend it earning some extra cash, instead of surfing the web.
  2. InboxDollars – InboxDollars is similar to Swagbucks, since you’re going to be taking surveys, shopping, etc., so if you want to maximize your return, sign up with both websites. They also offer a search engine that pays you (like Swagbucks) and you get $5 just for signing up.  I won’t continue to list survey sites one after another down the list, but if you want to get paid to take surveys, also check out GlobalTestMarketE-Poll Surveys and Survey Club.
  3. Project Payday – Project Payday is one of those sites that has testimonials of people who have earned thousands of dollars by getting paid to get trial offers. I’m not saying you’ll earn thousands, but it is legit and you can earn some extra cash. They assume that by paying you to do a free trial, you’ll either like the product and purchase it, or forget to cancel the trial and get charged for it. If you can keep track and cancel before you get charged (if you don’t want the product), then this is a great site for making some money.
  4. User Testing – User Testing pays $10 a pop for testing websites. A test usually takes about 15-20 minutes. The purpose is for a website owner to watch someone, who is new to their site, try to navigate it. The value that the site owner gets by watching an actual user experience is worth a ton, but $10 isn’t a bad pay-out.
  5. Fiverr – Fiverr is a great place to make a few bucks or spend a few bucks if you need some of the services people offer. Basically, everything is $5. You either pay $5 or charge $5. They call them “gigs.” You can offer your services however you choose. If you sell art and you’re fine selling pieces for $5 each, that’s a gig. If you’re a graphic designer and you want to offer your services for $10/hour, simply offer a 30 minute gig. If they need two hours of graphic design, they pay you $20, or $10/hour by buying four gigs.
  6. IZEA – IZEA works in addition to a blog or on its own. You get paid to blog, tweet, take photos and take videos. The pay is mostly based on your following, so if you want to make money with your tweets, you’ll need to grow you Twitter following.  Likewise, if you want to make money with blogs, you’ll need substantial blog traffic (more on blogging below).

2. Freelance Writing

Freelance writing is one of the most popular ways to earn money online. Many successful freelancers can earn an average of 50 cents to a dollar per word. Some are earning twice that!
Of course, it doesn’t start out like that. You’ve got to build your portfolio and your résumé, blah blah blah. If you’re interested in writing, I’m sure you know this. If you’re not interested in writing, I wouldn’t recommend traveling down this road just for the money.
It takes dedication and time, though it can be highly profitable if it’s what you love. Assuming it is what you love, let’s talk about making money with it.
Before you decide to start reaching out to all of these freelance writing companies, you need to have a web presence. You need a blog (in my humble blogger opinion, of course).
Or you could just have an online portfolio. Even a LinkedIn profile works to get started. When you’re ready to start, here are 150 resources to help you write better, faster and more persuasively.
If that’s intimidating, just start with these 50 resources.
Now for what you’ve all been waiting for; once you’re ready to actually start making money, here are 10 websites you can start with:
  1. Listverse – Listverse pays $100 for each accepted post. The article must be a list, it must be at least 1,500 words and you must include at least 10 things. Other than that, you can get pretty creative with it.
  2. TopTenz – TopTenz pays $50 for each accepted post. Again, the article has to be in a list format and it must be at least 1,500 words, with few exceptions. They post often so your chances of getting accepted are fairly high.
  3. A List Apart – A List Apart pays $200 for each accepted post. They’re not first on the list, because they tend to publish less articles, which means you have a smaller chance of getting accepted. Same guidelines as above, 1,500 word minimum.
  4. International Living – International Living pays $75 for each accepted post. They are mostly looking for travel experiences from countries you have visited. For this site, it’s more about your experience than your writing ability.
  5. FundsforWriters – FundsforWriters pays $50 for each accepted post. They are looking for articles about writing and making money with it. They only accept articles between 500-600 words, but they want you to make each word count.
  6. Uxbooth – Uxbooth pays $100 for each accepted post. They do tend to take four to eight weeks to accept and post articles, so don’t count on this being a quick money maker. They take so long, because they pair with editors to only publish amazing content.
  7. iWriter – iWriter pays up to $15 for each accepted post. That may seem small, but they aren’t as strict as many of the others above and they also allow you to pick exactly what you write. You can write as many or as few articles as you want.
  8. Textbroker – Textbroker pays up to five cents per word, if you’re a 5-star writer. You’ll start by submitting a short sample article and you will most likely start as a 3-star writer, but you can work your way up by writing more and writing great content.
  9. Matador Network – Matador Network pays up to $60 for each accepted post, but standard pay is around $20-$25. They don’t really focus on a minimum word count, but they have a maximum count of 1,500 words.
  10. The Penny Hoarder – The Penny Hoarder pays up to $800 (rarely), depending upon the number of page views you receive. The pay starts at $100 for 50,000 page views, so this isn’t a guaranteed paid article, but it can potentially be highly rewarding.

3. Sell Your Stuff

Ever since the idea of online auctions came into existence, the online selling market has been on the rise. Many are interested, but don’t know how to get started. There are still all kinds of ways to make money by selling online, whether you’re selling what you already have or buying and selling like a store. Before we get started, here are a few general tips when selling anything online:
  • Get a PayPal account. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you’ll want to get one if you’re doing business online. It’s the standard in online business for receiving payment and paying others.
  • Take good pictures. Some of the options below don’t require you to actually take the picture and sell the product, but for the ones that do, make sure you take a clear picture that makes your product stand out from the others.  If you’re going to be taking a lot of pictures, set up a small “studio-like” area in your home with a backdrop and proper lighting to really make your pictures come across as professional. And of course, you’ll want a good camera too.
  • Be honest.  If you’re selling used items, be honest about every dent, scratch, blemish, etc.. This will reduce many issues you could run into and keep your reviews positive.
  • Do good business. Plain and simple. Whether you’re selling on a small site or opening an online store, your customer service matters. You’ll want to get those positive reviews and make a good name for yourself. Respond to questions, concerns and complaints. Offer a guarantee if available.
Follow those guidelines and you will do well in online sales. When you’re ready to start selling, here’s where you go:
  1. Amazon – Have you heard of FBA? It stands for “Fulfilled by Amazon” and it’s getting pretty popular. Basically, you buy products (in bulk is best) and ship them to Amazon for them to store. When your products sell, Amazon packs them up, ships them out and sends you the money (after taking their cut). There are people making a full-time living from FBA, while others just do it for some extra money.
  2. CraigsList – Some things don’t ship very well. Other things may make you feel uncomfortable to sell to someone across the country. Anytime you’re selling a large item or something you just don’t want to ship, Craigslist is a great place to go. It’s simple to list your item (again, take good pictures!). If you don’t like the idea of putting your phone number out there, the interested individual can send you a message to your inbox without even getting your email address.
  3. eBay – Of course you can’t read an article about making money online that doesn’t mention eBay. You can start an eBay store and get serious about it or you can just sell some stuff to declutter your home. Either way, I’ve made my fair share from selling on eBay and it’s still a popular way to earn money. If you decide to start an actual eBay store, you’ll want to find a drop-ship business like Doba that will store and ship items straight to your customers so you don’t have to deal with an inventory.
  4. Etsy – If you like to create arts and crafts, you can sell them on Etsy. It’scompletely free to open an Etsy store. You simply sign up, post pictures of your creations and starting selling. You can choose your payment option, but PayPal is generally the easiest. Etsy makes it easy to sell and keep track of your inventory. There is a small listing fee and they take 3.5% of every sale you make.
  5. Facebook – Facebook swap shops are great for selling things locally. It’s like CraigsList, but a little easier. You simply search for swap shops in your area and ask to join the group. Once you’re in, take a picture of the item, write a quick description with the price and post it. It doesn’t get much easier than that. You can generally expect to get about what you would get at a yard sale, maybe a little more.

4. Blogging

Hey look, an article about making money online that doesn’t mention blogging. . . oh wait, here it is.
First off, I’m a blogger so it seems wrong not to mention it, but more importantly, it’s a legitimate way to make money. It’s quite possibly the least straight-forward way on this list, but it’s very doable and it’s also quite possibly the funnest way on this list. I love blogging and I know hundreds of bloggers who feel the same. So let’s talk about making money blogging and what it really means.
Blogging is something that requires patience, persistence and discipline. It may mean writing everyday for over a year before you really start to see any money from it. There are exceptions to the rule, but from my dealings with other bloggers, it seems to be pretty common to spend one or even two years building your blog, your brand and your authority, before making any serious amount of money.
Some people argue that you can make money without a lot of traffic and while that is true in some circumstances, you will generally need a lot of website traffic to start earning from a blog and that takes a while. Once you’ve reached that point, here are the primary ways to monetize your blog and start earning:
  1. Advertising – This is definitely the most old-school way of earning money with a blog. It’s also starting to become the least common way. You can sell advertising spots directly on your site or you can sign up with a company like Google AdSense or Media.net. Either way, you won’t see a whole lot of money from ads until your views are well into the thousands each day.
  2. Affiliates – There are many affiliate networks, such as FlexOffers and CJ Affiliate that allow you to promote other people’s products and services. You simply put a link or a banner on your page and then you get a percentage if someone clicks through and buys the product/service. You’ll want to select products that are specifically within your blog’scategory. This is an effective way to earn money once you have the traffic coming to your blog.
  3. Membership – Many people have created a paid membership area on their blog. This is typically for exclusive content that you can only access in the “member’s area.” If you have a really great idea on what to include, this can be a great idea.  You’ll have to create something that can’t easily be accessed around the web.
  4. Products – You can create your own product, such as an ebook or computer software. You would then use your blog as a promotion tool to get people to buy your product. As long as you create a legitimate product with a whole lot of value, you should be able to get some buyers, but like everything else with a blog, you’ll need the traffic to get the sells.
  5. Services – You can offer a paid service, such as life coaching, blog coaching, goal setting or financial planning. Just be sure to investigate all the legal implications and make sure you’re not claiming to be a professional if you’re not one. With a service like this, you’re basically using your blog to sell yourself. You’ll need to convince people that you’re worth buying and then be able to back up your claims once they purchase your service.
  6. Sponsored/paid posts – Many blogs publish sponsored and paid posts. Sponsored posts are basically just posts about a specific brand, product or service. A company will pay you to publish an article about it. It’s similar with other paid posts as well. Your basically selling the spot for the article on your site. If you decide to take this route, you’ll want to build your traffic before you will get many offers.
  7. Subscription – If you think of something valuable (newsletter, online magazine, etc.) that you can consistently offer on a certain basis (weekly, monthly, etc.), you may want to offer a subscription service. This could be a fee charged each time your product is sent out or on a monthly basis. Either way, this has to be something that your customers can only get by subscribing to your website.
  8. Videos – This could be an entire section on it’s own. Many people have made money by creating YouTube videos. Evan of EvanTube is a kid andhe has made millions by creating reviews of products that other kids his age would use. It’s not easy to get views into the millions, but once you do, you’ll start seeing some cash come in. Many bloggers have completely turned to videos to get their point across by starting a video blog.
If you’re truly interested in becoming a blogger, start by looking through the archives of ProBloggerCopyblogger and Boost Blog Traffic. Then go read through all the free guides over at Quick Sprout. It may take you a year to complete those tasks alone, but it will be worth it. You’ll practically have a MBA in blogging.

5. Work-at-Home Companies

Finally, there are some companies that will hire you to work from the comfort of your own home. If you’re interested in working for someone else, while still making your own schedule and deciding where to work from, here are a few companies that will let you do just that:
  1. CrowdSource – CrowdSource offers many types of jobs from “microtask” jobs to larger writing and editing jobs. You decide how much you work and you can do most of it right at your computer.
  2. Demand Studios – Demand Studios is hiring all kinds of creative professionals, from writer to filmmakers. The pay isn’t amazing, but it’s competitive for a work-at-home job.
  3. Fast Chart – Fast Chart allows you to work from home as a medical transcriptionist. There are some requirments and qualifications listed on the page, but if you meet them, you’ll make competitive pay for the industry. You’ll also be able to set your own schedule since you’ll be working from home.
  4. Leap Force – Leap Force is one way that Google rates websites for search engine ranking. If you’re hired, you make decent money (usually over $11/hour), you set your own schedule and it can be pretty fun to view and rank websites.
  5. Liveops – Liveops is a call center that allows you to work from home. Once your set up to take the calls, you can begin making a weekly schedule and working from home. The pay is generally close to $10/hour, but you can earn more with commissions.
  6. SpeakWrite – SpeakWrite will pay you up to $15/hour to transcribe information. You set your own schedule and work from home.
